WHAT IS A LEG IN MLM?
A downline formed under one of the other downlines and followed by a frontline distributor is referred to as a “Leg”.The role of each leg depends on the type of plan the company is using. Each person who is directly below the recruitment line forms a separate portion. The distributors are paid based on the downline sales they make, just like in a Breakaway Plan or Uni-level MLM Plan. Also, MLM companies pay commission to their associates as a reward to their salesforce, which is called a “Pay Leg”. But in most MLM plans, the only earning from one leg’s is counted towards the commissions.
